Felix Burrichter
The German architect became an editor once he moved to New York and founded Pin-Up magazine in which he is not only the editor but also the art director.
Burrichter’s creative work is characterized by it’s research of an interaction between architecture, design and contemporary art. In this way, the creator offers the public the possibility to observe a new aspect of some concepts and ideas that are too often fixed in the history of artistic creation.
In 2010 Felix Burrichter had the opportunity to show some of his work at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. Now in 2011 he returns to this city along with his longtime friend and collaborator Sarah Ortmeyer to present at the Brachfeld Gallery their work: XXX Burrichter Ortmeyer (Jan 28th-Feb 18th).

Sarah Ortmeyer
Sarah Ortmeyer has succeeded to create a new form of contemporary art.
The work of this German artist has a directive line: to uproot the characters and situation of their usual historical context to recreate a vision of the past exposed in an unusual universe that leads the viewer to confront himself with what he believed to know about history and it’s construction.
Thus, the associations presented in Ortmeyer’s films, objects and installations are new tools that can allow us to awake the part of extraordinary hidden in what the writing of history has often labeled as ordinary.
